One of my favorite things about being part of the fiber arts community is how crochet can bring together people who might never have crossed paths otherwise. Through the year, I’ve had the chance to meet so many wonderful makers through Dows Market on Main , and one of those friendships has grown into something really special. Recently, my friend from The Knotty Sisters reached out wanting help learning how to edit long-form YouTube videos . When she asked how she could pay me, I told her she didn’t need to....but fellow yarn people already know how this story ends... She asked: “Can I pay you in yarn?” And honestly… that might be the best payment method ever! A Surprise Ice Yarns Haul As part of our little creative trade, she gifted me several gorgeous colorways of Ice Yarns that fit my personal style perfectly. Since she mainly works with amigurumi (cute crochet critters and characters) and heavier yarns, some of these finer yarns weren’t really her thing - but...
